Why the badge is the price
A free listing costs us a real person's time. Instead of charging for that, we ask for a link back: put our badge somewhere on your site — footer, about page, homepage — and your listing stays live.
The badge is one line of JavaScript and comes in five styles. Once it's up, you paste the address of that page and we load it to confirm the badge is really there — then your listing goes to a human for final approval. If the badge later disappears for more than 30 days the listing is unpublished, and it comes straight back the moment the badge returns.
